8th Grader Jennifer Landis Represents Pemberton Twp
The Burlington County School Boards Association hosted its annual 8th Grade Dialogue and Dessert Reception on March 5, 2013. The 8th grade dialogue program recognizes students whose character, determination, school spirit and leadership have inspired their classmates, teachers, and their community. One eighth grade student from each middle school in the district was invited to attend this program. The students selected were asked to share their thoughts about their elementary and middle school experiences and their aspirations for the future. Congratulations to Jennifer Landis for being selected as Pemberton Township's representative.

Congratulations to HF/NMS Wrestling Team

HF/NMS teacher Mr. Rick Little was recently named Coach of the Year, and the Wrestling Team represented our school in the South Jersey Middle School Wrestling League Tournament. HF/NMS Students Honored in VFW Patriot's Pen Contest
HF/NMS students recently participated in the Veterans of Foreign Wars' essay contest, "Patriot's Pens." The contest asked students to discuss what they would like to tell America's founding fathers.

Newcomb Campus Celebrates Career Day
Newcomb Campus Celebrates Career DayNewcomb Campus's students and staff recently celebrated their annual Career Day. As always, the day was highlighted by members of the community, who came to our school to share their experiences in the workplace and introduce our students to the many vocational possibilities available to them. 

Organized by Guidance Counselor Jessie Jochem, with some assistance from the Newcomb Ambassadors, Career Day is an annual event that never fails to bring out the best in our students.

Pemberton Township Schools Now Accredited by Middle States Association

At the first meeting of the 2012/2013 school year, Pemberton Township Board of Education (BOE) welcomed Henry G. Cram, Ed.D., president of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS), who presented the district with its official MSA-CESS certificate of accreditation.

Pemberton Township School District is the first district in the state to earn accreditation through Middle State's new System Protocol.

In addressing the Pemberton Township BOE, Cram reiterated the findings of the MSA-CESS Visiting Team, "The Pemberton School Community is doing much more and with greater success than they give themselves credit for or are getting credit from others. This inclusive school community places a genuine emphasis on individual student achievement."

Anti-Bullying Program

Pemberton Township Schools has established a district wide anti-bullying, harassment and intimidation (HIB) program designed to create a respectful and tolerant atmosphere.
